The book collects for the first time twenty years of writings by Gavin Wade and explores a practice that he refers to as ‘upcycling’, a process of stealing, copying, recycling, using other texts and artworks, and responding to existing conditions.
Some of the texts are artworks – manifestoes, stories, statements – others are interviews, discussions, proposals.
This Kickstarter campaign offers you the opportunity to support and take part in this project – investing in the book and artwork generated from it, to read, upcycle and transform your own city environment.
WE NEED YOU TO INVEST IN WHAT WE DO.
