Artist's Surgeries
We run monthly 'surgeries' for emerging and more well established artists, which offer the
opportunity to discuss the conceptual and technical problems of book
production.
Workshops
In addition, we hold publishing and
marketing workshops, offering practical advice on how to produce,
publicise and sell books.
We have also run a number of popular creative workshops in collaboration with Tate. In conjunction with Put About: a Critical Anthology on Independent Publishingwe organised a symposium on independent publishing that took place at
Tate Modern, November 27, 2004. A study day, 'Reinventing Muslim
Vernacular', was held at Tate Britain on 2 July, 2005 as part of 'Scape
Specific', commisioned for Book Works by Sara Wajid.
